Is there a company that offers affordable stock duplication, with the customer doing the final inletting and finish work? The only one I'm aware of is Great American gunstocks.

Sounds like a family motto, is it yours?

no need to git nasty...or do you?

I talked to Michael M Kokolus at a gun show in Allentown, Pa. I asked him about duplicating an L.C. Smith stock, he said that if I sent him the stock he could copy it to within .002.
sometimes on these guns you can get lucky fitting an old stock from another gun to one on hand, and it might fit.
He said for a side lock it is always better to have the old one to copy.
I understand his prices are very reasonable.
