Next Saturday is Brush Creek's annual S x S shoot. I've been every year and always thoroughly enjoy it. I have no affiliation with Brush Creek, living about 3 hours away, but it is a very pretty range and the shoot is well run.
Cliff White usually has a couple or three tables full of very nice Elsies, along with the odd Fox, Pahkah or Lefever. No junk here. Top drawer guns.
I plan on being there and sure would like to see more of our guys from this and the Fox Collectors forum show up. It's a nice day even if you're not into competing.

Yes, Charlie is coming with me. He beat me last year, and I intend to wreak revenge upon him this Sattidy.
Cary, Brush Creek is near Colbert which is just east of Athens. Look them up on the "net", they have a website with good directions. Look me up also, if you get there. I'm a tall malnourished farmer with a mostly grey beard. I'll be shooting a BSS.

I have a Saturday pass from my wife to drive down from Charlotte and attend. I checked with the range and is ok for me to bring a dozen or so reasonable priced SxS.
I'll have my barrel wall thickness and bore gauges if anyone would like to do some measuring to check proofs and chokes, etc.

Great news, Joe. I was thinking about you earlier this week, while visiting your fair city with my wife and two young grandsons. Look forward to meeting you.
That steak for lunch sounds good. When I called today to preregister the lady asked what size I wanted. I of course told her an extra large. Wouldn't you know it, she was referring to my t-shirt size!! Hope it shrinks a little!
