Unfortunatly, this story is true. While listening to the radio last week, I heard Mr. Lake recount the events and they are as stated in the post. Citibank's response to Warne's inquiries are quite clear and I have no idea why NRA-ILA would suggest that Citibank had improperly applied a code.

I recently got into it with Costco over the same issue here in Arizona. Not only do they prohibit legal firearms owners from having a firearm in their stores they were extremely obnoxious in their email* response to me when I asked for the reason.
I emailed Sams Club and was told that firearms owners with carry permits are welcome in their stores.
I will probably drop my Costco membership and change over to Sams as Costco clearly indicated I should take my business elsewhere if I didn't agree with their policy.
I would also like to see a list published of the stores or other businesses that have an anti-gun owner policy.

One thing that gets me is gun shows and gun shops that have "No loaded Guns" rules.There is one gun shop here and a show promoter as well.I stopped going to both,lots of other places to spend my money.
If we,as CCW's can't carry there,how to we expect other non gun business' to allow it ?

The point you seem to miss is that businesses do not have politics. They cater to a market segment and the bottom line is their politics. Repunican or Dimocrat means nothing to them because the political parties are the same in action, no matter what they say.

Greed runs the world and blue or red is meaningless. And there is stupid everywhere on the edge to be exploited by buzz words and jingoistic BS.
