Good morning, Picked up a treasure at a local show. Never seen one before but quality seems very nice. Barrels are marked Fabrica De Escopetas Marca Jabali on the right tube and Eduardo Schilling- Barcelona on the left. On the flats it says Krupp-Essen Especial on one side and Comprimido on the other. Various proofs, one is on page 153 Standard directory of proof marks #20 14 December, 1929-9, July, 1931. Eibar proof house. Very close to #34 on page 156, pretty sure # 20. The other is a Running Boar with E. Schilling below the running Boar. Full coverage engraving done very well, ejectors and 2 or 3X wood.. I will try to post some photos tonite when my son gets home. Thanks for any info you can post, Bob

See Terry Wieland's "Spanish Best: The Fine Shotguns of Spain". He says that Miguel Aguirre and Nicolas Aranzabal (of AyA fame) worked for Euduaro Schilling of Barcelona.

He shows one these guns in his book.

Doublefan,
I used to rely on my son to help me out when I had to do something on the computer other then the simplist tasks. Then the young rascal moved to New York! I suggest that when you have your son help you, take notes on what he's doing and keep it in a ledger next to your computer. That way you won't be left high and dry like I was.
Steve
PS the kid may be a know-it-all when it comes to computers (he works in IT) but he still calls me first when ever he has car troubles.
