I'm familar with taking apart Foxes and Parkers, but never did a Syracuse Arms. Gun has a weak lever spring and I'll be working on it later this week.
Questions before starting - are there any special watchouts with disassembly of a Syracuse Arms frame and components? Also, does anyone know for sure if the lever spring is a coil or a Vee spring?
Thanks in advance for your replies. Silvers

Silvers,
Every Syracuse I have taken apart has had a V spring for the top lever. The gun is fairly simple and comes apart easily after pulling out the tang screws. Do yourself a favor and leave the hammers and mainsprings alone. They are held in by a flat steel plate and can be a real bugger to get in and out.
