I talked to one of the girls at CSMC on Monday regarding, of all things, my RBL order. The good news is that it should go in the shop next week. It's about a 5 week process. Yes, I've done the math.

I ordered my gun with standard grade wood. Has anyone received a gun with 2X wood and what was it like...pics?

Secondly, I couldn't get any info on what will be replacing the launch edition. Does anyone have a clue as to what we can expect next...other than a price increase.

Nothing, when orders are filled and interest dies off. Most locals want Benelli and Beretta semi-autos, or something of 'Vertical' persuasion.

I asked the same CSMC at the Stamford show on Saturday when I saw a sign that said "RBL Launch Edition Closed".

I was told that they are 2 years out now on current orders, are no longer taking orders and do not plan to.

They said they are "going to do something different".

I was told the thinking is 28 & .410's & 16's have too limited a market so the front runner is a long barreled (30-32") 12 ga. pigeon/waterfowler w/ screw in choke tubes.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.
