Boothroyd confirms that a George Manley and Son was located at; 78,High Street, Birmingham ,Circa 1900.Because the High Street[A retail location] is outside the gun making quarter,this to me indicates a gun dealer rather than a gun maker.However both Westley Richards and William Powell, both long time established gunmakers had Birmingham retail locations well outside of the gun quarter.
