I guess the 6HD on mine must mean heavy duck. The only difference from yours is the engraving on mine is very similar, except it is a bunch of ducks instead of geese.

I do have a good supply of Bismuth 10 gauge loads so this might get used for geese some, I also hope to use it for deer locally. I live near 1,700 acres of public land that allows one day of hunting, buckshot only each year. Admission is by lottery and I get in every other year or so on average.

Good gun. Appears to have been made in 1955 (B1) and chopper lump barrels.

I'm happy with it so far. One big plus has been finding out my supply of Alcan all brass 10 gauge 2 7/8 inch loads fit much better in this than they did in the POS.

I REALLY like the Alcan all brass 10 gauge hulls
They load well and are great performers

How are you set for *57 size primers?

I've got about 2900 left myself. thanks for the heads up though.

As far as the brass goes I've got 30 that I reload and two boxes of 10 each still new.

Great
I have some number over 100 of the 10 gauge Alcan hulls
I sure do like them.
I made a sizer for the hulls in case they get sticky

I've got a few that need to be resized. When I bought my brass about 10 were prefired and they were very tight in my Scott. The Stoeger could accept about 1/2 of them without much problem. I'd love to get my hands on one of those sizers though. They sound like just what the doctor orderd.
