it looks like you can list stuff like barrels and chokes again, formerly banned parts are now OK again. I hate making money for folks who dont like my hobby but it sure makes finding and disposing of little stuff easy.

I hope they lift the ban completely on older(non black gun) parts. I can easily get those type of parts on Gunbroker or elsewhere. However. Ebay was always a good source of vintage parts for all of us that non-gun people would find and I was able to repair multiple guns because of these listings. Jim

Everybody wants to squall about eBay but I've always had great luck selling on there. I'm glad they let the barrels back on, I've always gotten top money for then when sold through that venue. I've got a set of Parker barrels I've been wanting to sell but known they wouldn't bring what they really should on GunBroker. I'll have them on eBay next week.

My biggest problem with Ebay has been their half a$$ed attempt to be politically correct. If they would just take the position that anything that's legal to sell in the United States is welcome on their site as long as all govermental regulations are adhered to I think everyone would get off their case. I think they did, in fact, give up. Shotgun barrels galore. I guess I picked up my $500 Model 21 just in time. Buyers will be watching now.

"It looks like E-bay gave up."
Did they "give up" or did they allow greed "the love of making more money" overrule California political correctness. I want to maintain my faith in human nature, so I will vote for greed.
Maybe I am wrong and the real reason is that the founder of e-Bay has now gone over as CEO of HP to manage its continued failures and eventually cessation of business, and the current management are not political correct focused.

Meg Whitman was NOT the founder of Ebay. She was just a hired marketing goof who was in the right place at the right time. She came from a marketing background at companies like Procter & Gamble, Disney, and Hasbro. She got to Ebay at a time when a poorly trained monkey could have grown that business.

I would have preferred Meg to Moonbeam.

Being anti-gun and having political ambitions within the Republican party don't play well together, even in California. Looks like her political ambitions won out.
