Hello collectors of the world

I am seeking advice from those who have expertise with 410/.22 side by side combos, European and British. Any contacts or assistance from members would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean 0.410" and um at what date range might you be looking?

Kind Regards,

I have a.410/.300 Rook Rifle side by side combination; a sort of mini cape rifle. Top lever back action hammer gun marked C. Rosson, Derby. Pretty scarce things. Lagopus.....

I'll bet not nearly as rare as a 401/.22 SXS laugh.

Hi guys

Sorry I made a mistake with the calibre. I meant a 410 shotgun and .22 rifle combination. I am looking for an idea on whom the main British manufacturers may have been and same question re European makers (probably German and Belgium) of this combo in the late 1880s and early 1900s. Any help on what resources to look for which might answer these questions would be hugely appreciated. Apologies for the mis-typing and any confusion it caused.

Until you find your dream gun, you can have fun with a Model 24 Stevens/Savage, the classic US made .410/.22 o/u. Later 20 ga/cf rifle versions are downright ugly, but the originals have nice lines and come up easy. Mine has a post-WWII Tenite stock -- an innovation 30 years ahead of its time -- but Ive seen them restocked in nice wood for a classy looking walking-around piece. They don't have the panache of a fine doublegun, but IMO they're the factory-made US version of a rook-and-rabbit rifle, entirely serviceable around the farm and in the woods.
