Please note there is now a new forum available. Silenced Doubles - In MemoriumHere is a brief synopsis of the intended content: We have all lost friends and loved ones who were collectors, hunters, and shooters of double guns. This forum is here to honor those who have passed on and shared our passion for the traditional side by side shotgun or double gun. This is a place to document the positive contributions these individuals have made to the double gun community during their lives. Note: This is not a forum for banter. No disrespect to the deceased will be tolerated here. The rules are really simple: Stay on the subject matter, keep it positive, and contribute as you deem appropriate. Thank you all for your participation.

Dave, thanks for seeing to this. It seems like an appropriate thing to do as those that have contributed on here made an impact to some if not all.
I would like to start with Russ Ruppel, Dr. Oscar Gaddy, Bill Wise and Geno, I wish I knew his full name.

Great move, Dave. What was already the foremost doublegun forum on the net just ratcheted up another notch.

John Mann has been mentioned but what about the Vietnam vet who got bust up a bit, rode a motorcycle everywhere, disappear for months and reappear with common sense when it was needed, Texan, I believe? He may not be dead but gone off to do other things. He deserves a name---for now.

King that was old whazzisname, the feller with the 20 in a 12 chamber gauge. The DitzyBikr image probably helped; never saw anyone challenge him on the McGivergauge. When I'd bring it up and attribute it to ol WHN, someone would always take me to task that it didn't work. Just on the QT, it did of course. I'll let this percolate and get back. I do not think that he's deceased but I don't always catch everything. Ed Muderlak was gone for a yr and I never missed him.

Something like Genady Arko, David, but that's not quite it. Did some work with Owleye on Matska. Never forget his argument that no American had ever owned "genuine" B-25. Good wildlife camera work as you know.
