Sold my Lil Bro a very nice Victor Sarasquetta SXS 20ga. last week. At least equivalant to an AYA #2. We put it in a plastic hardcase and I told him to open it at the airport and inspect it. He didn't and they broke it at the wrist. He will have to file a claim and hope they pay for it, but now what?
Who can restock it, will the forearm have to be re-made to get a wood match. No picts yet.
Best, Roger

Roger:
Chances are very good that the stock can be repaired to be as strong as new... and virtually invisibly as well. Google "The Stock Doctor" -- or Mark Larson Gun Art. Either one can probably deal with it.

Dennis Earl Smith, aka "The Stock Doctor" is without equal in repairs like this, IMO. dennis@thestockdr.com

There is indeed reason for hope. Some remarkable repairs here, including one by Craig

In January of this year, Mark Larson did great work on my A. Ilsley 16 gauge which was broken completely through in jagged fashion. I lost several chips at the disaster site and he put it back together with such skill and attention, I can't detect the repairs.
Here's the thread with photos:
