A colleague on another forum wants to purchase my copy of Jon Speed's Mauser sporter book, but I don't have a clue as to the value. Can't find it on ABE. I'd appreciate any info anyone could offer on a fair value for it.
I know I could put it on eBay but this fellow has spoken first. Not interested in getting the last penny but not interested in giving it away either, just an idea of a ballpark value.

Joe: If you're referring to the first book with the guy holding the Type B Sporter and looks like he's a happy future member of Rommel's AFRIKA'S KORP, it is going for $250 used on Amazon.com and I don't recall seeing a copy start at less than $195 on ebay in years. I was too slow or else the other fellow was too fast, he had already bought another example (for more money!) by the time I responded to him.
I offered it to him for $185, delivered, in excellent mint condition. Is anyone here interested at that price, cash or trade for single shot stuff or ususual sighting equipment?
