I have come into a small collection of Lefever's and might adopt one if they survive the Southern. Hidden Hollow and the Upper Pennisula (MI.) shoots are my two favorites.

Dave, Ernie tells me you will be right next to us. Fair warning: There will be at least 4 Lefever Optimus Guns there. Bring out your best.

Count me in. I wouldn't miss it
I can't wait to see if Ernie has changed the course to eliminate the long walk between two certain stations...

A nicely restored Lefever EE came into my hands this weekend past. I'll bring it along for the Lefever experts to look over.

It is #20xxx and has or had the ejector on-off switch/button. Needless to say this pretty old gal is missing a part or two. I'll happily have them made but my gunsmith requested a drwaing, photo, or part to copy... Oh, the joys of 100+ year old guns! Maybe the Lefever guys can point me in the right direction...

Just a reminder on the A H Fox Collectors' Bo-Whoop Long Range Shoot. This competition is held in conjunction with the Great Northeast Side X Side Classic to be held June 1-3, 2012 at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow Sporting Clays in Friendsville PA (northeast PA in Susquehanna County near Montrose). 2012 is our fifth year for this exciting and challenging side event!

You don't have to be a member of the Fox Collectors Association to compete. And, any maker's SxS gun may be used for the Purse shooting..... that means Fox, Parker, LC Smith, Lefever, Browning, Winchester, Ithaca, Baker, Beretta, English guns, etc etc.

Please take note, new for this year are separate "Concurrents" and purse payouts for High Lady Shooter, and for High Youth Shooter. We'll also have three (3) purse payouts for the top three shooters/any gun. And you don't have to shoot with a Fox to bag any of the purses. Here's your chance to show what some of the other makers can do!

The guidelines for our 2012 Bo-Whoop Long Range Shoot are posted here.

My son was only 8 when we went there last year, and I was concerned he would not be allowed to shoot. The exact opposite was true, he was encouraged to shoot, and praised for doing so. I look forward to going back.
