I will be making a trip to Brussels and Liege in a couple of weeks. Any firearm related sites to see?

Wonderful place to visit. Two museums there that related to firearms, but I cannot remember the proper names. Hopefully PeteM or Marc Gettemans will come along with help.

Yes, but you will have to work at it some. I'll dig up some stuff - - - if I can find it.

http://www.visitbelgium.com/index.php/our-cities/liegehttp://www.klm-mra.be/Enid, if you visit these 2 museums above there is also in center Liége le Musé de la vie Wallonne. Not forget to take a picture of the Liége Perron (place St Lambert) Enjoy your staying in Belgium and not forget to taste our artisans beers and in the Galerie St Hubert taste the best chocolat. Marc.

Both are fine cities. Follow the links Marc provided. The Royal Museum in Brussels is great. The 2 museums in Liege are worth the trip. Just across the street from Liege is Herstal where FN is still located.
People are very friendly in Belgium. There are 3 official languages, German, Dutch and French. English will be fine in either city. Brussels is home to the EU. Liege has become a university town during the day. If you can be in Liege on a Sunday, there is a huge market along the river that runs for miles.
Belgian chocolate is to die for!!! There are over 1,000 artisan beers available.
Pete

Binet E.J. & Fils at 17-19 rue Royale in Brussels is well worth a visit. It offers a wide selction of high-end sporting rifles and shotguns, along with related books, clothing, and accesories.
The inhouse gunsmith, a Liege graduate, was willng to discuss technical questions at some length when I visited regularly some years ago,

Go to Bruges and visit the chocolate shops. Hint: You can walk from the shop to shop and ask for a "sample". Of course within a block you will be on chocolate over load. Pete

Enid, I don't know when exactly you are in Belgium but on juin 23 & 24 the Liége gunmakers school Léon Mignon is open for public (only in the afternoon). If it is possible for you it is a rare opportunity. The school have open door days only once a yaer. Marc.
