Will it or wont it be on ? That's the question .With so many shows being called off due to bad weather and water logged ground ,I would hate to think I was traveling any distance to see it . The jury is out , some say it wont go ahead others think it will but be called off on the first day . The CLA is being tight lipped and being no committal other that to say they are monitoring the situation . If any of you are planing to come across then bring you waterproof boots and have look for other things to do while your here .

Had this come through earlier today from the Countryside Aliance - great shame...
CLA Game Fair - CANCELLED We have received official confirmation this afternoon that, owing to persistent bad weather, the 2012 CLA Game Fair, due to be held at Belvoir Castle from 20-22 July, has been cancelled.
The staff at the CLA Game Fair have done everything they could to avert cancellation but the appalling conditions have made this impossible. The Countryside Alliance is in full support of this decision and looks forward to the 2013 show.

Sorry to hear this news. Too bad you all can't just share a bit of all that water with us; we have ground as seriously dry as your is seriously wet. Oh, and did I mention it is hot, too?

Would you believe it – we had the last of the hose pipe bans lifted last week – there were some - flooded out - and only just being allowed to use their hose pipes to wash away the mud. I guess another case of too much or too little water in the wrong place!!!!

In my part of Essex the hosepipe ban was lifted on Monday! The garden is as green as it's ever been, no sign of the predicted drought at all.
I'm upset about the Game Fair cancellation. I was going to take my 85 year old father along with me on the Friday. We went to Belvoir the last time it was there.

Sorry to hear about the cancellation of the Game Fair there in the U.K.
Terrible wet weather you guys have been having in the U.K. I noticed too that the rain at Silverstone played havoc with the F1 race weekend activities prior to last Sundays actual race.

Yeah, Bavarian-Brit asked me to post the same: "that the big yearly CLA game fair planned to be held in the UK over 20th July weekend was cancelled yesterday due to the extreme wet weather in the UK." http://www.cla.org.uk/Kind Regards, Raimey rse
