It's in the "suburbs" of lovely Schagticoke (100 cows per person), Beecroft's Shooter's Supplies. Hope Dave hasn't sold the whole mess for scrap iron....or used 'em to ornament a gun nut
Christmas tree.

Michael, my NY connection failed. He also has the #415, but says that is for a later generation of .22 moulds. No #151. Sorry.

Mike, Thanks for taking the time to check up on this for me. I guess I'll just have to make on.

An easy way to get the punch cavity to match the bullet nose is to put a dab of epoxy in the hollowed-out punch end and then seat it against a release-agent-coated bullet in the sizing shaft. Saves a LOT of machine time and operator frustration!

Thanks for the advice Joe, I only have one .22 top punch and I just borrowed the mould for it from my friend this AM.

When I'm done with sizing the bullets from his mould I might try that. I do a lot of swagging of jacketed bullets and I change the nose form using cerrosafe, works like a charm but does not work with lead.

The bore diameter is .2235" and the twist is 1-16".

Needs to have short, around 45gr bullets to stabilize. I have tried .223" 45gr bullets and they do not shoot well at all.

I now have three .22 moulds and will start with bullets sized to .224".

I've had good luck with the 35gr V-MAX bullets in my early 1:16 .22 R2, Hornet and Bee barrels.

Thanks, I've had good luck with their 40gr V-Max but have not tried the 35gr. I get some before spring. wink
