I would say it depends on what you need. Their bulk
produced stocks are decent enough replacements for some of the older vintage guns if you just want generally a factory replacement. (Like the M94 Winchester mentioned above.) If you want a stock for a modern bolt rifle or a better grade shotgun, I would be inclined to move on to more of a "custom" duplication service. As a broad statement, and with perhaps some exceptions, I would say the best available off the shelf bolt rifle stocks today come from Richards Microfit, and they will cut your wood if you want them to. Don't know if they do two piece stocks, however. Obviously there are a number of higher cost duplicators around that will do a better job than either your guy or Richards Microfit, but you seem to be asking about a different market perhaps, not really a custom duplicator. It's like most things, you generally get what you pay for.
