From the rough description,,I'd say an asking price of $1000, perhaps a bit more if the bore is excellent would seem to be a fair price.
The M1908 doesn't command the price the 1903 or 1910 does. But finding an unmolested one is getting more and more difficult.
Alot depends on the local market if selling that way like at a show or shop.
The cleaning rod sections seem to be forever missing from the M/S's. I did find one 1910 carbine w/ it still in place when I bought it, but that's the only one. They are expensive in themselves.
