OT - need grip adapter for Colt

Just acquired an old Colt DA built on the 41-size frame, the original 1890s-vintage New Army frame. I need a fill-in type grip adapter to fit the space behind the TG, and I believe that the Python and others are ~ the same size and should work.

Can anyone here help, or point me in the right direction?
