I've been playing with the camera again. Thought some of you might enjoy this one. Solid bottom mauser action, unknown stocker. I've got my suspicion of who it could have been, but I would certainly like hearing from any of you who might have an idea. Inletting is superb other than the barrel channel which has been glass bedded, then opened back up when it was rebarreled with the current fluted SS barrel (not by me). On my list of projects is to rebarrel it with a good CM barrel and have it blued as I am sure it was originally, and mount a classic Unertl Vulture varmint scope on it. The checkering is an unusual fleur-de-lis point pattern that is very well executed.

Enjoy,
John

It looks like some of Monty Kennedy's work. Nice rifle.

When you get ready for that Vulture, if you don't already have one, let me know. I have a pretty good selection which I probably have no further need for, both internally and externally adjustable..

I use Photoshop Elements 8. I really need to spend more time with it, or take photoshop class. It takes me forever to get anything done with it.

I'm using Photoshop Elements as well and thinking I need to get the full Photoshop but looks pretty intimidating.
