Nice reminder of the "Old School of Purdey Gunmakers". I know Peters guns are still going strong. I put a "Matched Pair of Chapmans" In Doug Tates Engraving book some years back. Engraved by Alison Hunt, I also put Peters 20b O-U that I had Marcus Hunt engrave.and my Former Apprentice Bobby Smith make the Stock & Forend for. Peter & I used to race Norton M/Cycles @ Silverstone track in between working at Purdeys and gunmaking, really "Pd off the management when we would lug M/Cycle parts back to our Benches....CC/dt
