Jay bird, where do you live? There are a number of great gunsmiths capable of putting the gun back on face. There might be one within easy driving distance for you.

I too would recomend Hugh Lomas....Had him put a GR2 LC back on face...no signs of work being done but the gun is tight and back on face.....

Hugh probably just laid hands on the gun and it self-corrected. A miracle!
