Could an Iver Johnson Super Trap double gun be ordered with a straight grip stock, with long trigger guard tang, from the factory?
Thanks in advance for any input.

The original ad I see doesn't list those options, scaupman. The only options it states as being available are an "independent safety" and a Miller single trigger.
Have you seen one stocked that way?

I have not seen the gun yet and am waiting on photos, but the seller says it has a straight grip that looks to be factory original and also a single trigger. The Iver Johnson super trap ad I found indicates full pistol grip only with Miller single trigger as an option.
Anyone seen or heard of a super trap with factory straight grip?

A non original straight grip wouldn't keep me from buying it, especially if it has a Miller trigger. I haven't seen a Super Trap with a factory Miller trigger.

Yes, that is the IJ SuperTrap ad I found - thanks for posting it Researcher.
The seller's description matches all the general specs in the ad plus the Miller trigger option, except for the straight grip.

I probably led you to believe that I didn't think the Miller was factory. I know factory Miller trigger IJs are out there. I have the same catalog that is pictured by Researcher, and I have a factory Miller trigger skeeter. Factory Miller trigger Iver Johnsons are a bit scarce.

Eightbore - have you seen 12 ga skeeters with factory straight grips?
I see several .410 skeeters with factory straight grips for sale on the internet, but none in 12ga. If straight grips were available on 12ga skeeters, are the receivers similar enough that a skeeter straight grip buttstock and long tang trigger guard would fit on a super trap reciever, after some minor fitting by a gunsmith?

In the SKEET-ER the capped full pistol grip was "standard" on the 12-, 16-, 20- and 28-gauges while the straight grip was "standard" on the .410-bore. But, they could all be had either way.

Thanks again Researcher.
Given skeet-ers of all gauges could be ordered with a straight grip from the factory, then why would they not have allowed someone to order a straight grip on a Super Trap, in order to make a sale?
Can original order card/serialization info for Iver Johnson doubles be obtained anywhere, like Fox and Parker guns?
