Following this discussion and the one on another thread discussing alteration of chamber length. This lot did not sell at the auction: http://jamesdjulia.com/auctions/view_lot_info.asp?lot=1241-346

These look really nice, but does the forcing cone lengthening and addition of Briley chokes on the longer (and I would think more desirable) barrels take them out of proof? Any other reasons, or is the estimate just too high?

maybe the Miller single triggers?

a lot of people on this site "demand" double triggers on their doubles

I only shoot single trigger guns due to injuries and have
a Lang & Hussey Imperial Ejector with a Miller single trigger
installed decades ago ... long before I purchased the gun.
What a crude butchered installation on a work of art gun.
Since the safety sears are removed from the WR sidelocks I would expect the same.

I would need a huge price reduction to buy another miller single retrofit from the old days ... not sure how they're done today.

The idea of a Boss single trigger gun makes my soul smile and
my wallet cringe.

"Drop at heel: 2-3/16", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. LOP: 14-1/4". CONDITION: Excellent, nearly unfired, with only a few slight marks on bbls, mostly from sliding of forend, and some"
No wonder it was nearly unfired condition nobody in their right mind would want to drag a nearly 7 lbs. 28 gauge through the woods.

And for what price??? Someone has more money then brains obviously.
