Sorry, no photos. Interesting shotgun at gun show yesterday; hammers, damascus, Belgian proofs, metal underlever bolt release, metal underlever forend release, with the minimal metal forend hinged to the action body. Is this enough info for anybody to give me some candidate manufacturers?

I'm a novice at this stuff, but I'll try today to get better info on marks. Thanks all.

I have since stumbled upon a photo of an E. Bernard pin fire double gun which appears to have an almost identical action/forend design. When I get to my big computer, I will attempt to post a link.

Not possible from your description...could be a junker , or could be a stunner...really need pictures

The shotgun was gone/sold today when I got back to the gun show, but the seller was pleased to get some idea of who the maker might be.

It was no stunner by any means, but was certainly unusual enough in our neck of the woods to stump all who examined it. According to the seller, the buyer stated his belief that it was an "English" gun, despite the Belgian proofs.
