There is a nice looking 16 sxs on Guns International that appears to be Belgium. Has anyone heard of Fillion as a gun maker?

Cabela's often provide photos of the action flats and barrel flats. Unfortunate they did not in this case. Looks like a nice gun from the photos. No indication whether it has ejectors. Looks like a lot of condition, maybe redone. Given the name, could be either French or Belgian.
I noticed that the contact name at Cabela's in Scarborough is David Moses. Wonder if that's the same David Moses who used to post here frequently some years ago? If so, he knows a thing or two about doubles.

Fillion Arquebusier ŕ Clermont
Interesting find. I would have guessed the name to be the engraver. So does he hail from Thimister-Clermont, Belgium or Clermont-Ferrand, France or neither?
Kind Regards,

Looks like there was a Rivat arquebusier ŕ Clermont de l'oise, who might have been a wheel gun man? I see an Antoine Rivat and a Pierre Rivat, both Armuriers in St. Etienne but don't see which Rivat was in Clermont.
Kind Regards,
Raimey rse
