Guys, can I get your thoughts on the current and future values? Here is what I think, non rare poor condition loosing value, Rifles in the medium range $6500.00 to $10,000.00 seeming to hold value but slow moving. Highly desirable due to condition or rarity slowly increasing in value. Bore rifles, hard to peg, lots of 12 Bores moving slow. 10 Bores and up value rising, but not a lot of buyers. With English auction prices adding 25% buyers fee, how long can this continue? I notice some big collections are coming to auction, remember a lot of "stuff" came in from India in the late 60's-early 70's. Those collectors are mostly in their 70's or 80's now. Another component is that not many young people hold an interest in these rifles. I guess I am just asking for input on future values. Thanks for your help!

You maybe over analyzing/thinking the situation. Exceptional guns, desirable guns will remain so. Each guns value must stand on its own merit. Good guns are few and future demand will be there barring the zombie apocalypse . It is after all a world market.

Thanks PM, what you said makes sense. I do think good, rare stuff will always hold value. I found out one thing over the years, really wealthy people always have disposable income, our shrinking middle class, not so much!
