Appreciate any comment regarding satisfaction with the original issue RBL 410 they have received and used from CSM. Understand CSM is about to offer an upgraded (and more expensive) version after poor response they had to original offering. I was a little turned off by super lite weight of original gun, but am interested in any real world opinions out there from user/members.

I've been quite pleased with mine. With the tiny receiver and bit longer barrels the weight distribution and handling dynamics are quite good for a five pound gun. It is much better handling than my NID Ithaca which is about 3/4 pound heavier, but has all the weight between the hands.

At the Orvis gathering, I spoke with the owner of one. He was using it for Grouse and Woodcock and having good success with it. He liked it. I should also mention that he is a top notch clay target shooter.

I, like Erik, have lusted for one of these but we were a bit put off by the price. Congratulations to Researcher for biting the bullet.
