I am not in any way related to this event, I am just posting the information as I have gone to the shoot for several years, and it is a very nice (and lightly attended) event. Although five stand is listed I have never in the dozen or so time I have gone there seen it operating?

First day of PA's trout season this Saturday? Might that explain the relatively-light attendance?

First day of trout in southeast Pa is April 4th, statewide opening day is April 18th.
Looks like it would be a good shoot plan to attend.

Looks like Saturday will be a nice day weather wise. There are no trophy's or prizes given. Just fellowship with fellow SxS shooters. It's good practice for the Southern. You can't beat the price! Chaz, you are correct, most of the time the 5 stand isn't running. The staff is quite busy and sometimes there isn't enough man power to run it or they don't have the traps in service.

I didn't want that to sound like a complaint, just fair warning for anyone looking forward to 5 stand.

Last year was a little cold, so bad in fact that my daughter batted her eyelashes at the group of gentlemen in front of us and was rewarded with their handwarmers. They said she looked like she needed them more.

Blue Ridge also gives a discount to youth shooters, at least they have in the past.

Tomorrow is looking like a beautiful day so come out to Blue Ridge and burn some powder. The sporting clays course is 100 targets and the wobble trap is 25 targets. The 5 stand will not be open due to construction. Shooting starts at 9:00am and last squad out at 3:00pm.

Please sign the roster at the registration desk so I have a head count. Registration will try and squad all SxS shooters together if possible. The kitchen will be open for a light breakfast and lunch. Did I mention the homemade pies?

The back room of the clubhouse will be available for displaying or selling guns. I�ll have my barrel mics with me if you want your bores and chokes measured.

We�ll take a group picture at 12:30pm.
