A long weekend at the NRA Whittington Center with the Rocky Mountain Vintagers; as flinty-eyed a group of shotgunners as ever raised their head off a stock or slapped a mosquito. A lot of smoothbore eye candy, great food and fellowship. I even let Joe Wood shoot my Simson, (but not enough to give it any bad habits)Linda Iker, shooting Argentine Clays, probably outshot all of us. Looking forward to next year's event which is a great excuse to acquire another double gun.

I REALLY wanted to out there w/you guys, but it just wasn't in the cards this time. Next year I plan to make it.

This thread inspired me. Digging out my old Westley project gun and going out to shoot with the RMV's today. I'll be showing off some rare old growth bondo on the pattern stock.
