I am looking for a source for I. RIZZINI 16 gauge choke tube wrench. Bought a gun, and it didn't come with the wrench to remove the chokes. Current choke markings are 4 notches on the top barrel tube and no notches on the bottom barrel tube. Are these IC & Cyl?? Sorry for the ignoramous question, seems pretty basic I know, but I gotta ask!!
If you know of a source I can purchase a 16 gauge wrench from, please let me know!
Thanks,
Dustin.

Contact Briley, I would think they sell replacement chokes for Rizzni's and they should have a wrench to fit.

I ordered my "semi-bespoke" 16GA FAIR (Isodoro Rizzini) fall 2002 and received it July 2003. It arrived with four chokes in a decent combination locked blue plastic case. I measured the chokes as follows: 1 mark - 40 points of choke, 2 marks - 30 points of choke, 3 marks - 18 points of choke, 4 marks - 10 points of choke, no mark - 1 point of choke. I order the gun thru (the late) Brian Dwyer of GunMart Brockville Ontario. He and his wife placed the order at IWA or EXE (can't remember) in January 2003. I was so impressed with the 28GA FAIR O/U that I bought at GunMart fall 2002 that I immediately placed an order for my dream 16GA, O/U, English hand, double triggers, barrels left as long as they could, same with stock. I fell for Michael McIntosh's 16GA silver tongue, and haven't regretted it for a heartbeat. Gun arrived with standard FAIR cast-off, 73CM/28-3/4" barrels, 15-1/4" LOP over the factory 1" pad, DAC 1-7/16", and DAH 2-1/4". It's a LOT of gun for the money, but it's not a bespoke Italian or Spanish gun by any means.

My memory may be failing--probably is!--but as best I recall, the choke tubes on the I. Rizzini/FAIR guns weren't Brileys. Cabela's acquired New England Arms' inventory of FAIRs when that outfit went out of business. Dustin, you might try contacting Tom Bryant (who sometimes checks in here) at Cabela's to see if he can point you in the right direction.

I have a FAIR 12ga over/under (I. Rizzini) and ordered chokes through Trulock. I believe they are the Verona LX.

Thanks for the help. Ventured a little outside my comfort zone with this gun, but I like it and it has a purpose. I ordered a wrench from Briley. Thanks for the info on the tube constrictions, good stuff to know.
Dustin.

Is that what you bought instead of the Beretta you were looking for?

Yes. I liked it much more than any of the B guns I looked at.

Yes. I liked it much more than any of the B guns I looked at. The FAIR guns seem to be seriously underappreciated.

I'll be damned, we own a model of gun in common :-)
