I have followed this thread with interest, I acquired a 12ga #6 skeet gun as a project 5 years ago and have not got around to finishing it. If someone is interested in it I will consider moving it, it has been vetted by Walt as correct, 26" barrels ejectors and single trigger. It has been restocked, but I think it can be used to complete gun, have a semi finished forend from Walt, it also needs the right ejector trip replaced and ejector springs which were removed by previous owner. metal is very good with good bores and traces of case color. Price 575 shipped, if there is serious interest I will take some photos for purchasers.

what kind of rib?

i mentioned earlier that i had issues with a single trigger on my 1st grade a. was there an issue with the trigger design? if so, was it ever recitified or was it just plain ole getting the hammer/sear let off filed just right like always?

Model 6 guns had standard solid ribs.

lol. can you share what you know please? i sure would like to see a real vr on model 6. i havent yet.
