Hey, I'm just trying to point out that it's Gil and Ken who are the good guys here. Along with people like VictoryXC, who puts a lot of effort into getting us Ontario, Canada SxS guys together for a shoot a couple times a year. This is not supposed to be about me.

Stan had the right idea! Let's hear about the good things people here do.

This place is a wealth of information, no question. It was the first BB I stumbled upon many years ago, and I've learned a lot. One thing I've learned is that someone here almost always knows more than I do about a specific make or model of gun, about the nitty-gritty of pressure, ballistics, etc. You name it.

And while there are arguments, a lot of them--especially now, in the heat of the political season (which seems to last forever, particularly if you live in Iowa in a presidential election year)--aren't directly related to doubleguns. Or any other kind of guns.

I have conversed with a few people on this forum who were eager to help with questions/problems I had. Makes it all a pleasure and worthwhile.

I've been away from the forum for awhile, hence the late reply, but I wanted to say that I gave the bowl to Canvasback, but it wasn't near enough payment for his generosity and integrity in the course of our little venture. He's good people and the kind of guy that makes this community great.
