It has been a while since I have posted...been extraordinarily busy on all fronts. Just bought a gun that is a bit of a puzzle. It is a Lindner Daly, 20, diamond Quality, ejector with straight english buttstock, and beavertail fore end. Although the barrels do not appear to be cut, they must have been, as the length is 24 1/2" Fluid Barrels. In addition, there are factory gold embellishments on the bottom of the gun, in high relief, a pair of snipe on the trigger bow and a setter pointing two flushing partridges or quail on the trigger plate. I have found examples of almost all of the guns features here or there in other guns on the "net", with the exception of the beavertail. The gun is on its way to me, and in my typical AD/HD manner..I am already looking for information without the "gun in hand". At this point mainly curious if anyone else recalls seeing an example of a Daly Lindner with a beavertail. Cant wait to get the damn thing!!
