I did what I thought to be unforgivable.
A few weeks back I bought a Turkish U/O. A Hatsan Escort, 28" barrels, black chrome outside, white chrome inside, 3" chambers, single trigger, 5 choke, synthetic stock type thing with a plastic trigger guard & a fluro bead.
When I shouldered & pointed the thing at the shop I could scarce believe how well it pointed for me, like made to measure.
Right there on the spur of the moment I bought it. Glad I did now because it shoots so well for me.
It's a bit crunchy on the safety & barrel select, a bit heavy on the trigger too but I can live with it for now. First time I need to go inside it is when I will deal with those issues.
I have not shot clays with it yet & am looking forward to seeing how we do at that. The local vermin are all a tremble now, the ones still alive that is, so I expect the clays to be a bit worried too.
This is the first time that I have bought a gun on fit alone & let no prejudices or pre conceived notions enter the decision.
By the way we shoot together it seems that if I forgive it for what it is then it is very forgiving to me.
