Hi All: Sorry for the late response to the Bobski post from some time back titled "show us your SBT Guns" Attached is photo of my collection:
=/- in date order (top to bot.).
1). Baker Sterling Grade 34in. bbl (per Conley yr.1922) (Daryl might have to weigh in on this one).

2). Ithaca 4E Flues 34 in. bbl yr. 1918 (note factory cheek-piece)

3). Fox J-Grade 32" yr. 1919 (1st yr. production S/N 400061), custom re-stock French walnut at some later date.

4).L.C. Smith Specialty Trap 32in. bbl.yr.1927

5). Parker SC 32 in. bbl. yr. 1928

6). 5E Knick Ithaca 32 in. bbl yr. 1957

Very nice trap guns! I really like the 5E Knick.Those sunburst pads are just gorgeous.

My first SBT was a 1918 4E Flues. Damn fine gun and I'd prolly still have it if I still did SBT kinda things.

Gents: I appreciate the positive responses on my SBTs.

I forgot to mention that the Baker Sterling is S/N 48849.

This gun has the pull-off style forearm and the lock-up is only a rotary bolt which engages a small slot in the rib extension and only a single 0.200" dia. (non-tapered) pin extending from the breech face. IMO the weakest lock-up of the bunch.

Any info. on the date of mfg. would be appreciated.

how does that baker stack up compared to the parker? i shot a parker, never had a baker in my hands.
