Picked up a Sporting Rifle at the last gunshow. Has the two Trigger/Set Trigger, Claw Mounts, nice walnut stock and AKAH 6X scope chambered in 7X64.

When I got it home I popped the stock off it and found it is stamped on the underside of the barrel Kummot Kronach (as near as I can tell. There are two dots over the U in Kummot. I am assuming this is the gun builder but a quick search did not turn up anything on the net. The lettering is not real straight like it was done with individual stamps.

Thought I would check and see if anyone was familiar with this name? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

Here is a guess, Kronach is the name of a city, I searched for gunsmiths there and found this guy Mathias Kummet
