Guns International has a H&K Fabarsm Classic Lion Grade II side by listed. It has 28" barrels, pistolgrip, beavertail, false sidelocks, screw in chokes, and hard case in 12 gauge. Nice looking gun, but what caught my eye is that it has two sets of double under locking lugs. I remember when these guns were imported by H&K and I found it to be very unique. About the only other gun I can remember with this lock up system is a line of double barrel rifles. Does this make for a stronger gun?

I've owned the Grade I Classic Lion (without fake sidelocks)for several years, and been happy with it. It is a good gun, and seems quite solid. But I doubt that it is significantly stronger than other SxS's.

Verney-Carron has gone one better and is using triple lugs. Very strong, I'm sure. But might be overkill.

Might have "double lumps" but if memory serves there is only one slot in the action. That is they only bear on the outsides as with a single lump.Biggest problem I know of with these was the alloy forend that wore quite rapidly and troublesome ejector trippers .
