Many different thoughts, I'd suppose. For the money, I 'd rather look around for a nice condition lever gun from the late 1880's or early 1890's. Many 'limited editions' don't pan out for the investor, how long have they been out? Hotcakes sell out very quickly.

I have never seen a modern Henry rifle that was well built, never mind of eventual collector quality. They are poorly made in my opinion, at least those I have seen, and I have not seen this particular model.

A second run of a "limited edition" tells me something will have no collector value.
For that matter so does a first run. I don't think you can manufacture something with the intent of creating a true collectible, that can only be decided after a long period of exposure to the public.
My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.

Neither classic nor custom, but I think it is just swell that they gave one to Ross Perot, my third party hero candidate, I voted for him twice!
I do admire the fact that they brought manufacturing back to Brooklyn, NY.

I'm also uncertain that a buyer wont lose money on such a purchase. I'm happy they are trying to make something classic looking, but doubt most people will live long enough to profit from increased values on these modern guns.
Considering the $3500 price tag, I'd much rather own something 130 years older, with some history behind it!

Only opinion treb. For quick comment, I'd focus on the receiver. It looks to me like there's very course machine engraving and machine buffing. I'd want to see crisper lines, and somewhat finer flowing 'engraving' for it to be interesting to me to stop and give it a second look. Still, shine isn't all that special, I'd move on. Fun looking plinker though.
