I recently picked up a 20 gauge Ithaca NID that is missing some internal parts. Did Ithaca use scaled gauge specific components in their 20 gauge NID?
Most specifically I am looking for a pair of hammers, sears, rotary bolt and yoke. If anyone has other 20 gauge NID parts available please let me know as I may be interested.

I'd suggest you contact Brad Bachelder in Grand Rapids- He is a big fan of the NID series doubleguns, and almost always seems to have a few for sale in the shop as well.

Thanks for the link to Numrich. I had already looked through their list and not many parts say whether or not they are gauge specific.
Drake, I worked for Brad while I was in college. I remember searching for the patent info on your unique Parker with aftermarket Fischer ejectors. At the time we didn't have many NID parts that I remember but they very well may have more NID parts today. Maybe I will try to stop in when I am in GR next to say hello to him and Lori.

Call Gunter Pfrommer at 540-484-5555, He work at Ithaca Classics when they were in business and will know. I will look again in my parts manual as I think remembering I did this before when you posted.

Look under Ithaca gun parts on ebay. About 95% model 37 but a significant number of side by side parts.

In my experience, 90% of the schmucks that list gun parts (it is illegal to sell complete guns on Ex_Lax-Bay, by the way) don't know their asses from their elbows- and the proper nomenclature, description, etc is a joke- Gun parts like "selective extractors" and "auto-injectors" are rampant. Most of these numnutz pick up bags of misc. gun parts at flea markets, maybe steel wool off the rust and dust, and then try to schlep them to the unwary buyers-
Your best bet will always be a legit gunsmith- that's why I recommended Brad Bachelder- He knows Ithacas like the Pope knows where the Holy water coolers are in the Vatican.
Speaking of Ithacas, IMO anyway, the only Ithaca side-by-side guns worth owning if you want to shoot modern 2&3/4" loads are the NID series- I looked up Ithaca double gun values in my 2014 edition of the Blue Book- for reasons which I can't quite fathom- a Flues No. 2 grade 12 gauge and a NID No. 2 12 gauge are considered to have the same retail values, condition being equal between the two Ithaca models-

I've found it works both ways with vintage parts on the auction sites. If you know what you are looking at you can sometimes pick up hard to find parts for practically nothing if the seller has no idea what they have. On the other hand a lot of sellers know what parts they have and seem want a ton of money plus your first born for them.
While I was working for Brad we put together an Ithaca Classic Doubles 20 gauge kit gun. It was quite a bit of work but looking back I wish I would have picked one up for myself when Galazan was closing them out. As for shooting "modern" loads in a Flues I wouldn't be too worried. I have seen one cracked Flues receiver in person but have also seen pictures of cracked Fox receivers, cracked Parker hammer gun receivers, cracked Syracuse Arms receivers and of course a lot of cracked L. C. Smith stocks! I have also seen an Ithaca Lefever A grade 20ga skeet gun with the frame completely cracked in two pieces right behind the hinge pin. Saying the Flues can't digest modern loads is like saying damascus barrels are all dangerous. If you want a nice, affordable and light carrying upland gun the Flues is hard to beat imho.
Thanks to Brian Dudley I have a pair of hammers on the way and found most all of the other parts I needed online. Thanks for the help everyone.

I picked up a complete 12 ga. ejector forend for a Sterlingworth off EBay for ten bucks early this year. It was in very good condition and went right onto one of my Sterlingworth Ejector guns. No fitting required. Did have to ultrasonic clean it because of a lot of crud in the works. Now it just needs an set of 32" barrels to finish the outfit.
EBay is what you make it sometime. Value if you know what it is and th seller doesn't or if they can't spell worth a dime.
