Asked the question on a different post which veered off topic. The question, is the Inverness a copy of a DMB?
There seemed to be a following the Inverness is a Rizzini copy, and a DMB. In viewing photos of all three guns, the Inverness look closer to a DMB, than a Rizzini, for the internal working I have no clue.
Does anyone know the differences?

My humble answer would be,in a way any round body action on the CSMC or Rizzini is somewhat a copy of what the Scotish guns was meant to be.
But there is no comparrison to a McKay Brown with these guns.
The McKay Browns are truly "Best" guns and true round body guns.
Made in the tradition of the Dicksons.

The Inverness is essentially a round body Rizzini that has cosmetic modifications to make it look more like a DMB. Some of these changes include side rib extensions over the forend, elongated and sculpted upper tang, barrel rib options (like a quarter rib), the opening lever, the grip shape, and the overall action shape. All of these features have been altered to look more like those on the Dacid McKay Brown. The standard Inverness engraving pattern is also a copy of DMBs standard pattern.

I would love to have a DMB built to my needs. Not so much the copiers. Still copies are made for a reason of demands and size of our purse.
