Obama gave the OK on the the 1911 pistols- opening up government surplus availability of pistols through the CMP for the first time in decades. The EO referred to regards exportation.

This was done only because it was a small part of a spending bill, the NDAA. The fact remains that Obama was as anti 2nd-Amendment as they come, and was the one responsible for blocking the importation of the surplus Garands covered by the Petition Jim posted the link to here. He was also responsible for many more Executive Orders intended to infringe on Gun Rights, ammunition availability, and hunting. He begged for Congress to send him restrictive anti-gun legislation to sign and pass many times, and among his parting statements was his bitter disappointment that he didn't get his way on gun control.

This is good. Obama's EO nixed the deal CAI had made with South Korea to import large numbers of Korean War era weapons. CAI almost went under because of it.

It is my understanding that We need at least 100,000 signatures on this petition to compel the government to review it. Hopefully we can exceed that number indicating there's broad interest in rescinding this executive order that's keeping part of our history from being re-imported.

I signed it. Last time I did this I got added to Obongo's sucker list and received every propanda message he sent the rest of his presidency. I hope this doesn't get me on President Trump's twitter list!...Geo
