What is going on with this Flues model SBT, it appears to be factory marked HACA Gun Co, HACA N.Y. USA. Possibly a bad roll stamp? No photo of the other side.

Never heard of HACA GUN COMPANY, but that does not look like a roll stamp error to me. It is also stamped Haca, N.Y.

Oddly enough I do not know everything, so the seller could be correct about it being a company bought in by Ithaca. I bet Walt knows!...Geo

Google doesn't seem to know of a Haca, N.Y. either.

Plus 1 for what Skeettx said. There was never a HACA gun co. I don't know where the dealer came up with that one!

Well the rear of the stock was sanded down to fit that nasty recoil pad. Not a smart move to me. I'd rather see the pad sanded down to fit the gun, funny that way. I wonder if the gun got buffed at a refinish job or was just a poorly roll stamped gun? The LOP looks short to me. Still would break birds all day long as practical matter. No easy fix to the roll stamping. Surprised it got out of the factory like that if it did.

The "IT" got buffed away when the receiver was polished prior to being re case hardened. I doubt there is any original finish anywhere on that gun.
