Just finished up the Tulsa show. It was well attended and business was good both for buying and selling. Average age of SxS buyers was younger . Sold a nice 20ga Stevens to an excited young man that he needed it to round out his collection!

As a side note I had a discussion with a black gun guy that said he was giving up his tables due to slow business

Visited a Ohio gun show in Liberty, not ONE sxs, so it is falling there. I searched through the building twice to be sure. A LOT of black guns, high capacity hand guns and all kinds of tactical accessories. If they removed all the "black gun" tables and all the modern stuff, there would be about 20 tables left at the show of old gun parts, lever and pump guns, scopes and knives. I can't see the end quite yet, but I do believe it's on it's way!

SxS Only

I went to the Richmond, Va. gun show two weeks ago. Saw a mix of everything. There was a guy there with several tables of SxSs, other sellers had a few others. Most were field-grade guns in average condition. I picked up an 1894 Remington SxS in decent shape.

As for prices, most dealers still seem to be holding out for top dollar, but there are exceptions. I can't say I see a real softening in prices.
