Bill Schodlatz says it is a beavertail without the screw. I don't see any evidence of that from the pictures, although another poster says he can see a screw in the pictures. The original poster says his friend questioned the screw first thing when he was considering the gun. What was the verdict of this questioning?
It has the forend through-bolt , Eightbore. I said so on page 2 to Doug Mann's same question. My friend was asking for my opinion of the gun by phone Monday before buying the gun. I asked HIM to be sure the btfe through-bolt was there, as well as the reinforcing splint behind the forend lug. Maybe we have clarity on that subject now.
Sometimes it pays to go back and re-read posts before asking a question: the answer is already there. I've been guilty of that, too many times.
