I had a 32" 20 Sterly in my hands for $800.00 about 5 yrs ago.
It had a crease in the barrels 12" from the breech.

I sat it down, and before I reached the end of the table, a guy snatched it up. At least he was polite about looking over my shoulder as I handled it.

I don't record serial numbers like some do, but it's probably been auctioned off after being enhanced.

Out there doing it best I can.

I think long barreled 20 gauge Foxes are just okay. I keep one around for rainy days.

Nice, Jeff. Is that the Fox you had the barrels' lettering freshened, and had them polished and blued by the Eric M. guy near you several years ago?

Stan,
That was a 30 12 gauge AE restocked with black walnut and reblued. This is its little brother - an extractor Sterlingworth 20 gauge. Its been restocked with some nifty Turkish walnut, new screws made and had some mechanical work done. When I get around to it Im going to send it to Turnbull and have it polished, engraving recut, case colored and reblued. I considered upgrading it with a full engraving job, but its just not worth it to me. It is fun to shoot as well as look at.

Thanks, Jeff. Please remember to post some closeups of it after Turnbull finishes with it, whenever it is.
