Model 17s were made from 1877 until 1942. Someone may have a serial chronology list around here...

I used to have two websites with Husky info but one is no longer available. You might be able to glean some useful information from this site:

Wish I could be of more help. Good luck!

I have a Husky SN list that I got from Mark Beasland. The earliest number is 5 digit, beginning with 16, and dates to 1884.

-My 12 gauge model 17 is 91882

Serial number on the left side of watertable
on the right side is 17 (in the front) and AE in the back.
So I guess that is 1915 smile
And the AE might be for Ekipers?

Mike

p.s. anyone know where to get Model 17 spare parts?
I have made mine, but would also like originals

I have heard it told, that the only thing you can trust about Husqvarna gun records, is that you cannot trust Husqvarna gun records...

I have a copy of the "Husqvarna Hagelvapen 1877-1977", which covers the gun making history at Husqvarna. The author does have a serial number listing, but, as others have said, it starts with serial number 16928 in 1884. So its not much help in dating your Model 17. What type of hammers does your Model 17 have? And is it a pin fire or centerfire?
