OP MinnesotaJoe Sidelock Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 47 Wisconsin/Minnesota	I picked up a 16g husqvarna hammer gun yesterday, i have been able to determine that it is a model 17.im trying to figure out when it was manufactured It has a 4 digit SN 9586, on the action flats,barrel flats and the inside of the trigger gaurd, any help on this would be appreciated A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush

So I guess that is 1915 And the AE might be for Ekipers? Mike p.s. anyone know where to get Model 17 spare parts? RWG Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 1,484 NE Ohio	I have a copy of the "Husqvarna Hagelvapen 1877-1977", which covers the gun making history at Husqvarna. The author does have a serial number listing, but, as others have said, it starts with serial number 16928 in 1884. So its not much help in dating your Model 17. What type of hammers does your Model 17 have? And is it a pin fire or centerfire?
