The national gun dealer room attendance was further diminished. Only Galazan, Barnett, Kirby Hoyt & Drake had large displays. Larkin Moore, Puglisi, Murphy had smaller booths or tables.
The large room of mostly private venders was about the same as years past in size, however, everyone seemed to be very proud of what they had regarding prices. As in, no bargains. That being said, people were buying and selling in the main room.
A noticeable change, is the increase of auction houses displaying their wares. There must have been 8-10 of them. I think that is a sign of the aging demographic of the collector gun hobby.
Of particular interest as always, was the large room containing the offerings of Walter Earl's Antique Gallery of Alaska. Guns, and everything sporting and collectable, including many double rifles.
It is very refreshing to see no black rifles on display, if fact one vender had some and was asked to make them disappear or he could leave.
Bottom line, is it worth attending, yes, you will see things there, not just guns, but collectibles, and sporting items that you will not see anywhere else.
Some photos of the main room and the Galazan display.

Great pics. Sure looks like the aisles are almost empty of people.

Next year's show has, for one time only as I understand it, been scheduled for the end of February. After that , it will be back to the late part of January.
