In a previous thread about vises I mentioned that I was looking for a Reed Swivel jaw carriage makers vise. I felt the tall thin jaws would make for a great stockmaking vise. I finally found one. Looking forward to getting it mounted and trying it out. Probably bigger than needed, but one thing I have found out is you can't have to big of a vise. Only other thing I wish it had was a swivel base, but I think I can live without that for now. I also need to make a new pin for the swivel jaw. It came with the pictured 1/2" bolt in the tapered hole.

For $1.00?? can't see the head of the 1/2" bolt in the through hole for the swivel- nice buy indeed- maybe buy a Lotto ticket as well?? RWTF

I have an old 5" Yost with swivel base and swivel jaw, Just need to mount it.

My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.
